About Get Set Go (The Game)
Get Set Go is a multiplayer VR party game which pits 4 teams against each other to build the fastest vehicles and race them on crazy race tracks featuring obstacles and extreme weather events. Each round consists of 3 distinctive events:
Get! → Players scramble to pick up vehicle parts, before the other teams can grab them.
Set! → Each team of 4 players assembles the fastest vehicle that they can.
Go! → 4 Teams race each other on crazy tracks. One player drives. Three players ride on top of the vehicle and attack other vehicles.
A single match is made up of 3 rounds of Get! → Set! → Go!
Job Description
As a Lead 3D Game Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets that bring our game worlds to life. You will work closely with the game design, programming, and art teams to develop characters, vehicles, vehicle parts, and scene art design. Animation skills are also preferred. The role additional requires good leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Modeling and texturing environment 3D assets and game props.
Designing an Art Style for the game which effectively matches the game design, mechanics, optimisation requirements and user target demographics we are targeting.
Converting shared design concepts and sketches to 3D assets with accurate reflection of concept vision and proportions.
Building detailed, visually compelling 3D environments and levels.
Testing and integrating built 3D models into game scenes in Unity.
Following 3D modeling best practices (accounting for vertex count, mesh topology, UV unwrapping, combining textures ..etc) including creating different variations (LOD) of 3D models when needed and optimizing any existing models in the game.
Collaborating with the team to iteratively refine assets based on gameplay, technical, and creative feedback.
Staying up-to-date on the latest 3D art tools, techniques, and industry trends
Requirements
Proficient in 3D modeling and sculpting software (e.g. Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, ZBrush)
Excellent understanding of 3D art fundamentals, including anatomy, proportions, lighting, and composition
Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, game-ready 3D assets with attention to detail
Experience working with game engines (Unity) and understanding of their technical constraints
Strong visual design sensibility and a passion for creating engaging, visually stunning game experiences
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with 3D rigging
Experience with 3D animation, shaders or visual effects
